FF&E lists and auditing

What is Hotel FF&E procurement?

Furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) lists are at the core of any hotel. From seating to lighting, every item contributes to the overall experience your customers have when they stay. FF&E procurement is the process of sourcing these items for your hotel, to ensure you have the right products to match your market, location, and brand requirements.

Why is it important?

Without regularly auditing and updating your hotel FF&E list, the hotel and its contents can easily deteriorate through lack of maintenance. This could alienate your customers and will likely end up costing you money, stress and time.

We’re here to help

Auditing your hotel FF&E list is the best way to save time and money, as well as reducing your hotel’s carbon footprint! It also helps you keep track of each individual item around your hotel or when moving property.

Arpenter are the UK’s leading FF&E legacy specialists. We audit FF&E in hotels of all shapes and sizes from across the globe. Our auditing process is quick, efficient and effective, saving you time and money. Attention to detail is our difference.

Examples of our work

Oliver James Associates

Manchester-based recruitment consultancy, Oliver James Associates, wanted a new look for the sales and operations floors of their new offices in the city centre.

We conducted a comprehensive FF&E legacy survey on their existing offices. Collating and analysing the data collected, we helped them repurpose over 70 desk positions, saving them over £28K on the move, as well as shaving 8,672kg off of their carbon footprint.

International School of Kuala Lumpur

The International School of Kuala Lumpur have two campuses. Our team travelled to the school to conduct a comprehensive FF&E Legacy survey across both.

From the data we gathered, and the resulting audit, the school was able to repurpose 60% of their current FF&E into their new 26-acre campus. This reduced their originally expected FF&E expenditure by £2.8 million – a huge cost saving!

What is FF&E in hotels & hospitality?

FF&E in hotels accounts for furniture and furnishings, wall coverings, fixtures and hotel equipment. This also includes equipment required for operation of the kitchens, restaurants, laundry, etc.

What is an FF&E Reserve?

A FF&E Reserve is the money a hotel sets aside to replace any furniture, fixtures and equipment as they wear out. Most hotels already have a reserve structure in place. By using our FF&E hotel services, we save you the money you need to keep in reserves.
